Last opened this three years ago, and it has become a simply gorgeous bottle. Shows obvious coconut and vanilla, but thankfully it's not dill heavy. Beyond the veneer, burnt sugar caramelization starting to emerge, along with deep mahogany and amarena cherry notes. High acidity, tannins notably softening through the mid palate. The evolution here is fantastic, zero stewed or prune characteristics, this is balancing maillard umami influence perfectly against a background of bright, dark fruit. Potential for 98+, revisit in three more years.

2010-modellen holder fremdeles godt på tanniner, men merker at de blir mere avslepne. God, bæraktig lukt, med hint av kjeller. Kjenner allerede på lukten at denne har utviklet seg fra innkjøp og test i 2021.
Ardanza 2010… opened a full bottle at 5pm and all gone by 6pm with the help of the Boss of the house. So so good. This isn’t a tannin attack at all, much more approachable to my last bottle in 2021. Very long, concentrated deep red fruits. Soft and silky, not blocky at all. This is excellent and will be brilliant.
