Oyster shell, lime peel, and flowers on the nose, with a slight hint of cedar that blows off over time. Concentrated, though weightless on the palate, with a suave, saline texture that flows gracefully through the back palate, finishing tight and juicy, with a slightly tart citrus and mineral aftertaste. Not much depth or complexity, and a bit mute on the finish, but it has a pretty nose and lovely texture. Drank well on pnp, best at around sixty degrees, and was consistent the next day. Probably better in a handful of years, but approachable now with food, preferably salmon or shellfish.

really nice mid-range Chablis from Fevre... classic on the palate with good acidity, citrus fruit and some minerality... almost tasted some oak here (but just a tiny bit??), wonder if this came from tank or had some barrel on it???... anyone know?... good quality for the price

This was a difficult bottle. Upon opening around 14.00, it felt young, tight and slightly bitter, but I had hope. At dinner around 19.00, it had gotten more bitter. The nose however, was quite classic Chablis, flowers, lemon, quite elegant. It did open up on the palate, but required a lot of time.

Young still, all rounded chardonnay. Nice on the nose, palate with a lot of different fruits . Refreshing.
