  No decant; 18c; feint nose of wet leather and sage; soft and round in the mouth, vigorous tannins, full fruit, gripping, minutes-long finish; schist, tin, red fruit, tobacco; a bit weak, bottle variation or it’s fading; 17.5 (next day was drinking nicely: would upgrade score to 18)

  This was a unique wine that was more like candied cough medicine with youth and tug and pull. Very well made and crafted, but the herbacious fruit for me was a bit too contrived or kiddish..Almost artificial or manipulated in some way. Still very young and playful. All I can say is unique! Drink or hold
