A wonderful evening with grilled freshly picked vegetables of high quality and grilled Entrecôte, both moose (48°) and beef (55°) with classic béarnaise sauce. With the food a wonderful Barolo from Parusso, Mariondino 2015 which was perfect with the food. I think many 2015 are drinking very well now, ripe fruit, no direct onset of tertiary notes yet. As always from Parusso, great finish, the wine really lingers. A good evening with close friends. Drink or hold.

Beautiful nose, mostly cherry, some underbrush. Tannins became assertive after 10 mins and stayed so for the first hour, then settled down. A lovely wine from a warmer year.

Medium-deep reddish ruby in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with floral overtones of roses & earthy/dusty notes, tar & minerals, spices, cocoa, dried herbs & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, strawberries & tart mulberries with herbs, minerals, spices, cocoa, earthy & just a hint of oak. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing (more than 90 minutes) but should develop further with additional aging.

A fantastic wine to beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce and cheese-grated hazelnut potato. Decanted for two hours, a perfect match! Strong tannins, but did soften after some time, a real joy to drink tonight. 2015 is really a great vintage

medium body, structured, cherries, raspberries, hint of cedar, bubble gum, medium-long finish, this reminded me La Spinetta Vigneto Bordini Barbaresco
