  Very fresh. Tar, earth and red fruits. More fruit with air. More purity than the 1998.

  Quick decant. Aromas of tar, earth, dried cherry and dried raspberry. Flavors of cherry, tar, truffle, iron and earth. Ends with a 35-40 second finish with tar and dried cherry notes. The 94 was a bit more expressive but it was open longer. This finish on this though seemed a bit longer. Drawing a tie here but may update once this is open longer.
