What a delicious wine. Deep Ruby color. Such a pronounced bouquet of tart cherry and raspberry. The palate mirrored the bouquet and had layered tertiary notes beginning to come through, but I think this wine has quite a lot of life in it. Had such a long finish it really just allowed us to sit and enjoy it.

Cork fell apart upon opening even though plenty wet; rich and leathery; plenty of life left after 12 years.

Color is dark red with a very slight orange tint on the edge. Bouquet is very strong with truffle, green pepper, and vanilla. It has an amazing balance which immediately pleases. Wonderful wine, not a sign of decline whatsoever.
