Hmm, given the recent enthusiastic reviews, I was a bit disappointed.
In the nose this was classic with poached fruit, but not exuberant. In the mouth I found the slightly bitter and still coarse tannins dominated over fruit.
Overall decent, but not more. Maybe some bottle variation?

OMG - this is class. Forgive men as first bottle of 6 and i don't usually drink at this price point but it's velvet with such nuanced flavours and a wonderful accompaniment to a venison stew. I will drink happily over next 2 years or so

Clear, red colour. Cherry, raspberry on nose. Dusty tannins. Raspberry and cherries. Slightly tight but opened after an hour or so. Possibly needs more time to fully express itself.
