A lovely drink, if not a profound one: medium yellow color. Developing nose, a little sweaty, and rather muted, but still with freshness. Light bodied, high acidity, less fruit now, making the wine rather dry, and with solid, medium persistence, stony throughout, notes of lemon curd, spice, hints of apricot, stony finish, which is short, though the acid leaves its impression. Drink up. NB: big difference in Riedel tasting glass: more expression of bouquet, with spice and white peach, and more definition and length of finish.

Light yellow colour. Some citrus, peach and minerals on the nose, but the flavour's wrecked by a bit of TCA. On the palate there's good acidity, a bit of spritz and a bit of peach and grapefruit evident, but again that wet cardboard/cork note ruins it.

(Hexamer "Quarzit") This was drinking great.Lots of citrus fruits, pear and crushed rocks. Great tension between acid and sweetnees. Some petrol hints run throughout. Great mouthwatering finish. Still has around 10 years left in it. This continues to be a great value and really benefits from a couple years in the cellar.

Fine as an aperitif. Just enough interesting notes to stay engaged.

Seemed a bit muted in comparison to past bottles. Perhaps it's just going through a dumb phase. Still quite nice though.
