I was told this vineyard is essentially the Montrachet of the Jura, and this wine drinks like it! Tissot is one of the gods of the Jura and he handles this wine masterfully. It is in a beautifully complex place with wooly, funky, cheesy, chardonnay character that only true Jura Chardonnay brings to the table almost reminding you of aged Loire chenin. This wine is majestic, you feel the weight and heat of the vintage but it carries it gracefully like a Clydesdale. There's a bit of stewed apples on the nose along honeycomb and some oak character, not really reductive at this point, just open to be enjoyed.
And on day two checking in on the last of the bottle this thing has morphed into liquid almonds. All the funky, wooly, honeyed stuff is there, but the finish goes forever and it literally just tastes like almonds and pistachios. I love this wine and everything Tissot touches.

A private tasting (Buurtcafé De Tros, Amsterdam, NL): Organic and biodynamic viticulture. Very perfumed on the nose, lifted and floral, quite a contrast with the weighty and powerful palate (14.5% ABV), salty and delicately nutty, wonderful varietal expression, cool minerality, the finish shows some oak, excellent resonance and length. A more classical style of Jura Chardonnay.

Fragrant, but slightly heady nose with flavors of lemon, green apple, dried flowers, chamomile, and minerals. High acidity with chalky/rocky notes, more citrus, lemon, and grapefruit. The alcohol (15% if I recall correctly) is noticeable but not obtrusive. Long finish. Very delicious wine that shows the ripeness of the year but remains elegant. 94+

Light straw yellow colour. White flowers, peaches, ripe yellow apples, toast and minerals on the nose. Taste of ripe yellow apples, white flowers, peaches, minerals and spices. Fresh acidity. Fantastic rich and complex. Very long and dry finish. Goes well with fish, shellfish or cheeses.

Blind. A lot of artificial candy on the nose, gasoline/plastic, sweet-and-sour , some wool; much better in the mouth, good grip, high acid.
