Lovely minerals and wet stones dominate the nose. There is also subtle aroma of flint and burnt matchstick that was delightful. Still quite fresh even for 12 years and I would love to have more of this in my cellar. A top maker based on this. (Had with G&A)

Popped and poured. A lovely deep gold color. Immediately on the nose, distinctive but balanced matchstick, with lemon, buttered toast, maybe a hint of pineapple. Rich but lively in the mouth, stays with you all the way down. Still counting the finish...what a wine.
