Indeed drinking well now. Straightforward, and crowdpleasing. Still loads if tannins and acid left, i believe we're looking at > 5 years good drinking window.

A slight artifact of the signature NSG stoniness asserts itself on opening but then cedes center stage to pleasantly plump pinot fruit nicely framed by tannic and acid structure. Very good. I think maybe drink up over the next year or two? Pretty great quality for villages; $25, I think, on release.

Very lovely if still primary. Loads of lush '09 fruit with smooth tannins make for easy drinking now. Not as much sous bois character as I usually get from this bottling. Quite a crowd pleaser with years of pleasure left.
