  • Very nice indeed, particularly on the pleasure to drink axis. Even better than in 2023.

  • A good wine in a good spot.

In its sixth year, the wine still shows a fair amount of acidity upon opening. An hour of air greatly helps to settle down. Sour cherries dominate.

A very well structured wine, yet one that remains a bit too austere and hard to get. That said, it is very vibrant and will easily last into the next decade.

Had this been an unknown wine, it would have been a joyous discovery. The wrapping in stellar ratings has unfortunately upped expectations so much that reality is somewhat of a disappointment. Which also does not do it justice.

I’ll revisit in a few years.

  • A little soft but pretty and classy. At a great place right now with soft tannins and soft acid. The aromas are fantastic. Subtle flowers and berries, a little smoke in the background. It’s an elegant wine but just a tad bit soft and not a long finish, would make it better if there was a bit more depth and length. Still great qpr and extremely enjoyable

  • Un peu de framboises au nez. En bouche, plutôt linéaire. Peu d ampleur, final sur les tanins. À lire les autres commentaires, peut-être une mauvaise bouteille ??

  • Ruby with purple tint. From the Sommelier Burgundy glass. Medium intense nose of cherries, strawberries, cured meats, terpenoids (fir?). It needs air and an hour to develope these notes. No decant, but maybe it would habe been better. On the palate it is a bit thin first, but adds intensity with time in the glass over more than an hour. 98 points from the WA, but not in my book. 5/13/17/9. -2028?
