Grand Cru Shiraz (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): Polished oak lends this a touch of fruit cake combined with maraschino cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, cream, vanilla. Juicy, fleshy, blackcherry, blackberry over plentiful persistent but softly textured tannins, a little fruit cake on the palate as well. Very young but balanced and rather nice.
