Cv'd a glass of this from another bottle to gauge if my last sampling of this was offbase, but sadly it's not. Reconfirm my earlier tn and concur regarding its gamey aspect; just not my cuppa tea.
Most of our Syrah's and petites are either Australian or mountain fruit and would never be drinkable, no less approachable, this young. Again, I'll chalk this up to personal style and reserve remaining bottles for pool parties

Not my type of wine. Seems more like mourvedre than syrah. First of Mikes wines i haven't really enjoyed.

Another excellent savory Las Madres bottle. Decanted 1 hour. This one was more gamey than tapenade, medium-full bodied.
