(Mostly) Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Formento's - Chicago IL): Pristine bottle purchased at release. Lots of apple and baked apple with sweet spice plus emerging honeycomb and earth. Lots here, and certainly still nicely fresh enough. Great depth. Great now, but with the bones to drink well for another decade.

La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Rich and opulent with tropical hints, but so easily enough acidity and minerality to keep it bright. I heard there was another bottle around that might not have been as fresh.

Just a bit too advanced, showing plenty of baked apple and honeycomb. There are tinned peach notes and some vanilla. It is full and round in the mouth with the tangy acidity of the vintage cleaning up the back-end.

This bottle showed more aged in comparison to the last bottle I had. More of a golden hue to the wine. Don't believe it was oxidation setting in. Mouthfeel was heavier more umami. Regardless the wine showed well and improved with time. Pineapple and tons of tropical fruit. In light of other review will check in soon to see if its bottle variation or just aging. 92/93. Think Sam liked it a bit more.
