Trace of stale aroma upon opening which blew off quickly. Took a bit for the Bouquet to develop and the taste to expand. Medium to full bodied, nicely resolved wine. Maybe a tad over the hill but still a very nice bottle. Light sediment, medium finish. Kept improving for 30 minutes by which time it was gone. Nice accompaniment to a Sesame Grilled Salmon and a Black & Blue Burger at the Bayside Bar and Grill in San Diego. (No Corkage Fee most nights) Enjoyed with Peggy and Kim. Drink up!!

OK, I can't say this is done in a classical Sangiovese style, but what a bottle of wine! Beautiful youthful color, bright acids, and silky tanins. In balance now- drink up, boys. This will keep for another 2- 3 years, but is drinking perfect now.
