Heater week; 3/26/2023-4/3/2023 (Chicago, IL): A huge disappointment -- fat and oily, with unclean botrytis(?) or some other sort of rot leading this to have unpleasant mushroomy notes. Furry as chenin can be, but in a slightly off-putting, dirty way. Some oxidation issues here as well.

Very unique and better with time but not my favorite. Oxidized Sherry style with moderate to heavy oak. Some acidity but not getting the freshness of fruit I hoped for. Needs time though.

Very ripe with quite a bit of botrytis and way too much oak. Chenin wasn't really recognisable. Bad QPR.
