Modest nose, Full bodied rich but not oaked. Dont get the sense of malo either but dont know Marche well. Some finish but disappointing complexity with little delineation of flavor. Not worth $40 (to me).

Golden yellow color with complex aromas of apricots, nectarines, fresh herbs and roasted nuts. Its full-bodied richness is balanced with a distinct spicy character (1.5 to 2 years in Slovenian oak). The nutty, mineral nuances developed quite nicely over three days.

sparkling (Waterford Wine Co., Milwaukee): there she goes. baking apple and painter's studio. 'honey in a glass' is called out. palate shows medium body with a chenin type honied-spice texture. such beautiful flowers. medium acid. this wine is not for everyone. the textural change from front to back of the palate is a mind bender.

There is allot of thought going into this here bottle of wine. Youthful still, needing more time. We will see how it opens up.

Certainly something very special going on here. Textured, mineral, really showing off Verdicchio wonderfully well.
Did not pair well with the carrot and cumin soup with roasted halibut ontop. The halibut it was perfect with but the rest somewhat fell flat.
On the other hand, rather magnificent with Tuscan bean and kale soup. A perfect match with a little grated parmesan.
