Mature golden colour. Nose has golden raisin, ground nuts, a little honey-buttered toast, just a whiff of oxidation but In good shape. On the palate this still has great structure - medium juicy acid, quite a bit of oak tannin, nice grippy mouthfeel throughout, quite tertiary, almond on the finish. Very nice if still quite oaky. Perhaps 10 years past its peak but holding on well.

Dark gold clr, showing no signs of ox. Surprising nose of white flower, honey, oak and vanillas - classic Cali chard, yet not overpowering. Palate was alive and kicking after one hour open. Round and full, good structure with more vanilla bean, lemon curd, white flower, touch of honey and some stone but more needed. Again was expecting DOA but very surprised, drink up if you got it.

Delicious! Light straw in the glass, pronounced aromas and flavors, nose of sweet vanilla, butter cream and wood, palate is expressive and still young, dry, tropical fruits lead, pineapple, apple, pear, notes for butter, blossom, sweet oak, smooth velvety mouthfeel that comes into its own as she warms in the glass. Classic CA Chard from this era.

No fruit on the nose...a hint of butterscotch and mineral. Crisp, a little vanilla creaminess with some stone flavors. The finish lingers. It's better than an over-oaked butterball, but still not my favorite.
