Classic Spanish vintage year, but is now tipping over in its life. Definitely a big red blend (20% Syrah, 40% Grenache & 40% Carignan) & still retains some fading tannins. Drink now...

Subtle in aroma and flavor, with a touch of complexity. Aromas flavors of currant, dark dried fruit, anise, spice, and a hint of olive on the finish. The finish is long with minimal/moderate complexity. Slightly tannic with a little bit of grip, this wine drinks well with food - lamb sausage in a tomato-based sauce in our case. Overall a good wine, but nothing memorable. I don't see this improving anywhere from here - drink soon, although I don't see it falling off a cliff either.
