Wine Cellar 2009 Burgundy tasting (Wine Cellar): Pale lemon colour with lifted floral notes of lemon blossom, lime, broken chalk sticks and dry river stones. A fresh entry with green apple and oatmeal richness gives complexity to this Chablis. Linear in shape, a lovely cut of acid pushes the wine to a long finish. Rather good!

Properly pale and greenish. Rather ripe nose (pineapple) made me think more of Macon than Chablis. Fairly lush for village Chablis, but this has nice orange rind, some minerality, and adequate acidity. OK, it is Chablis after all and not as overblown as my first sniff made me fear.

Fruity apple with hints of butter, orange and nectar. Long lasting.
