Very light straw with a crisp green apple, and white stone nose. It is a lighter bodied Chablis, but really is great with a white flaky fish broiled and comes to life. Had a apple + lemony finish of 30+ seconds. I think this will be great over the next 5+ years.

Obviously superior to the regular Butteaux bottling, this one has got more depth, focus and body. Still a bit austere, it's showing citrus and mineral aromas. Surprisingly good acidity for a '09. Nice.

Still a baby, but getting there. Electrifying tension. Now - whenever. Still holding some myself.

Chablis Producer Visits-Michel, V. Dauvissat, C. Moreau, Long Depaquit (Chablis): Richer and more citrusy than the regular 2010 Butteaux. Not nearly as saline but nice bitter stone fruit pit finish gives it shape.
