Earth, tart cherry aromas. Red berry fruit palate, with a mineral backbone. Zippy. Pleasant, but not sure I'm lovin' it as much as I thought I did. It's as though it can't decide whether to be Burgundy or Beaujolais...and then fails at being either.

this is just beautiful. Highly acidic (but nicely so) the first night, just beautifully integrated and balanced the next night. these could last for several years still....

Acid indeed, brought to mind older vintages of Chanteleuserie Bourgueil in its smokey acid finish. Far from undrinkable or justifying a kitchen sink drain evisceration, this is a lovely, tart black cherry wine that would do marvels in a proper context (I'm thinking a roast chicken). A steal at $16. Gets very raw unfiltered cranberry and bitter orange.

Nose promises far more than the palate delivers. Insipid with roaring acidity. Vinegar. Well past its best.

There's some acidity here it would seem. But some lovely pure fruit too. Simple wine but pleasant.
