Has the earthy leanness of an entry level Burgundy, but backed by a near-infinite wellspring of cherry fruit. The mouthcoating quality of the fruit and the incredibly long finish are impressive, making this wine a solid value.

Pomelo, hibiscus, rose petal. Limestone comes through quite a bit. Dry, low tannin, medium (+) acidity, medium-light body, medium alcohol, medium (+) length. Too sour for my taste.

Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined and refrigerated), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, medium intensity, developing aromas of black cherry, smoke, camphor, tomato leaf, and fennel. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium- tannin, medium intensity, medium body, medium alcohol with flavors of under-ripe cherry, fennel, and earth with a medium- finish. Overall a good wine dominated by earth and vegetal notes. Still youthful, but I don't see this getting much better with time. Drink now or over the next 3 years.

Nose is dominated by earth and minerality. Having a hard time finding fruit here.
Low tannin with medium plus acid.
An enjoyable bottle with lively acid. Was expecting more fruit from the Gamay, but enjoyed none the less. Also was surprised by the relatively round texture and deeper concentration.

Not terribly complex but vibrant red fruit is complimented with lively acidity, making for a very pleasant wine on its own or with food.
