Medium golden. Lovely salty, stony bouquet boasting aromas of lime, acacia flowers, quince. Creamy texture, marks of brine, stones, pear, spices. Good lift, no heaviness. This is a very different wine now, compared to the 4 other bottles I’ve tasted. Or, more likely, I didn’t understand how Chablis evolves as it ages. This is great wine.

Fully mature, which I think a 13-year old Grand Cru from Fevre shouldn't be, even if it is from the warm 2003 vintage. Golden yellow color. Creamy texture, honeyed fruit and brine on the palate. Good depth and minerality but ultimately this tastes like a generic, old white burg. I have not had good experiences with aging Fevre's wines.

Oxidized, however still intriguing and not without any charm. After all it had the profile of the vintage, but the Chablis Characters were not quite giving it all up... my last bottle and ready to move on the next vintages. Cheers

This is advanced and not remotely as fresh and vibrant as the 2002 Malandes 1er from the other night. While the wine is not shot, I'd expect a lot more from a Chablis Grand Cru even in a hot year like 2003. Disappointing.

Advanced. Not cut or freshness whatsoever. Down the sink it goes.
