Overpriced for sure. Tasted over 2 hours, including some decanting. I'd stick to 1er Cru, including from Fevre, for the money. Nothing particularly remarkable or exceptional, sorry.

Blinded. Initially reductive but slowly revealing a precise bouquet of stone fruits, mineral notes. Med body with long mineral savoury finish. Despite the warm 2020, this wine still show the mineral characteristics of the Chablis.

tasted at the domaine; 40% barrel aging; blue clay marl here; much more smoky and flinty than the Bougros; with time some apple and pear emerge; seems very linear on the palate; fresh and quite lovely

France Trip: Paris, Champagne, Burgundy; 9/3/2023-9/17/2023 (Paris, Champagne, Burgundy): Pale gold color. Drank a small glass at Domaine William Fevre. Blue marl like Vaulorent. Open floral nose, Meyer lemon, round, less edge, silky with a nice fullness, very long and deep.

Better on night 2 - lovely sharp lemon curd and taut acidity. Looking forward to trying it again in another year or two.
