Somewhat unique offering and not like most Rhone wines. Strawberry, plum, and spice, but quite bound up and short. Good value and easy drinker, may need more time in the bottle

Very good at $11 but you may be hard-pressed to find it at that price unless you live in San Francisco -- K&L Liquors.
Not overly tannic but enough to offer a bite; same with alcohol level - not too strident. I don't notice a lot of spiciness as would characterize a typical Languedoc; it is more of the plum variety.

Strong QPR ($11 at K&L, SF). Smooth and easy to drink, enjoyable from the start. Typical Languedoc, Syrah blend characteristics. Not much to say about it except that it is worth a try if you happen to run across it.

Tasted great from first sip. Tastes of strawberry. Very suttle hint of mint
