  • A very good Rhone-style blend from the Languedoc. Earthy and a bit of oak on the nose. Tasted of subtle berries, earth, chocolate; with soft tannins. Good acidity. Paired well with red meat.

  • There is a lovely meaty nose from this one. It was somewhat enigmatic on the palate. Some tastes were fruity and smooth only to be followed with mouthfuls that were youthfully tannic, powerful and verging on the astringent. To my tastes there is too much oak evident at present and the tannins haven’t yet had the chance to integrate within the wine.
