Brambly fruit of the darker persuasion with a hint of barnyard and smoke on the nose with similar characteristics to be found on the palate. Bright & lively dark red robe with lots of sparkle in it. This is in the beginning of its secondary phase. Long life ahead. Decent, to say the least, @ $25!

What a wonderful wine, absolutely at its zenith -- why you age CdP: enticing barya4rd on the nose, rich and supple on the palate with fine secondary flavors and fruit that's still evident; a complete joy to drink, so glad i aged this one

I bought one bottle of this on the retailer's recommendation back in 2000. I read RP's review and stuck it way, way back in the pile. Well after seeing the two recent rave reviews I figured it was time to pop it. I'm with JackStraw, RJennings and texaswino... this is really terrific. Agree with descriptors below. And at $14... killer QPR. Drink now and for another two years or so.

Fragrant, amturing CdP nose of garrigue, dark fruit, thyme. Smells like fall. Palate is soft and supple, more dark and red fruit, just a tad sappy, but a little blast of acidity here too. Delicious. In a good groove. One of my faves of the night.
