  Good; this was reduced on opening; decanted for 30 min with improvement in the nose; plum, forest floor, violet, a bit of sauvage. This was ok, but felt like it didn't have much more in the tank which was not my prior experience.

  A bit thin, lacking depth for a Gevrey from a warm vintage. Improved with air but never really impressed. Fruit is there but everything felt rather subdued. I doubt this will improve significantly given the lack of substance. Bordering on "neutral" relative to my expectations.

  This was very good, but actually still seemed a bit young to me; the nose was fresh with red fruits, some forest floor, crushed stone notes, and violet; the palate was fresh and still pretty structured, plenty of acidity; good depth though if the tannins fade a touch more it will be better. I'd recommend holding this for another couple years or a good decant; it still drank well with food, but seems to have more to give.
