Recently been on a roll of “ok” Pinot, this really hit the spot. Fantastic village level wine, in a good spot. Colour is burgundy, nose shows bright raspberry and some spice. Palate backs this up with fresh raspberry, some darker fruits, sous bois, mushroom and spice. Good depth and reasonable length for this level.
Matching with cassoulet really drew out the savoury elements. Sadly price has doubled for this since I bought it

Light to medium body. Bright bold primary fruit. Nice balance. Not much depth as one would expect from village level. But still very enjoyable and drinking nicely.

PnP. Immediately stunning. Black fruit and rose petals on the nose. Gevrey spice and mineral notes. So smooth and balanced on the attack. Nice finish. Has plenty in the tank to age, but drinking fabulously now. This is 1er Cru in all but name.

Medium ruby color. Medium plus body. Medium plus acidity.
Slight reductive note of tar. Scents of bay leaf, dried leaf. Powerful and intense fruit of dark cherry and black currant. Strongly saline. Finishes strong with rose petals and spice potpourri. Mouth-enveloping tannin texture.
Good power and weight. Look forward to its development.

PnP.
Good juice. Apple, blackberry & rose.
It’s a good smashable wine but lacking some minerality & complexity.
