  • Classified as a cru bourgeois in 1932 the Château has belonged to the Lapalu family since 1964. Wines from this estate are known to age remarkably well (although probably not more than 15-20 years post vintage). The estate owns 43 hectares of grapes composed of 60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

  • Dutch bottled by Sauter, upper shoulder, very good long cork. Mature ruby/garnet colour, positive orange rim; the nose displays good depth and harmony, lively and transparent, blackcurrants, touch of oak, mature lighter topnotes; on the palate remarkably lively and structured, light and with slightly sturdy and drying tannins but healthy, light flavours, vinous; good length, drying finish. A very nice surprise.
