Deep dark and delicious. Tobacco, leather and earth on the nose, red fruit and plum flavored full bodied Medoc. Ripe tannins with well balanced acidity!

Deep ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with cassis, eucalyptus, vanilla, tobacco, leather, dark plum and blueberry. Medium taste of cassis, red plum, tobacco, leather, black pepper, eucalyptus and green bell pepper. Long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Medium body. A very good Medoc that is very young, but shows the new style of the Chateau, very promising! Drink in five to fifteen years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark, London): Medium minus intensity aromas of wild blackcurrant, a little sweet spice, plums, slight alcohol prickle. In the mouth it's dense, drying, woody tannins with a lick of alcohol warmth - fruit plays second fiddle here. Boo.

Serious and classic combined with a modern twist; classic in its dark and lively colour, classic in its black currents fruit and ripe, but noticeable tannins, and modern in its smooth and juicy midtaste. The wine is balanced, pure and a real Médoc. I suggest that the new cellar with its new possibilities has helped to reach this level. For the next 5-7 years this wine will give you a lot of pleasure.

With a nice floral quality on the nose, medium bodied wine moves to a core of black currants and thyme. Round, soft and fruity, with an olive tint in the finish, the wine is already easy to like and it should improve over the next few years.
