  • This 2010 is in a great spot but has further potential for aging if stored properly. The nose offered black cherries, tobacco, cedar & some spices. The palate echoed the nose with moderate tannins, a subtle juicy quality with medium acidity in a full body. This was a pure joy to drink over the course of 3 plus hours. This can age a bit longer if you prefer more secondary characteristics. Otherwise, it's great right now.

  • Always love a St Emilion, and grateful to try a producer I had never experienced before. This was good but unremarkable, despite the wonderful 2010 vintage (Described as legendary across Bdx, but mixed in Saint-Émilion however fantastic in Pomerol).

Lovely blackfruit and plum on the palate, lively and demonstrates purity at the same time. Licorice and spice on the medium finish, but remains rather disjointed.

    80% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc.

Bottle 9/10 over a Chinese meal, celebrating bro Mikas birthday. Thanks for sharing bro LF.

  • Full bodied wine, great dark red color, but still too young, IMO. Still an enjoyable classic Bordeaux, but it should soften and improve with more age.

  • There are no formal notes but this wine was very good - the 1st day and the 3rd day, when I finished it.

  • PnP. Rich, plummy. Nice tobacco notes from the Cab Franc. On the nose, early maturity. Plenty of tannins. Still think it lacks balance - too much alcohol heat - but at least we are over the burnt fruit / oak / ‘this can’t be from Bordeaux’ phase, and into something better integrated and pleasurable to drink. From now but worth a few more years.
