Slight bricking at the rim but pretty solid color. Nose is very attractive with these charred oak integrated with dark fruit notes. Some earth notes behind the fruit add complexity and interest. palate is silky, dark, smooth but very present tannins, this so elegant and rich without being big and bold. Really a lovely wine. The finish goes on and on and just glides forever. Lovely... First vintage without Bailey at the helm. He'd be proud. Would buy again.

Cellar Favourites: Pretty violet aromatics with mint, earth and spices. The palate isn't quite as good as the nose for me, there is a thinness to it and the more I taste it, the less interested I feel towards it. Maybe just too young, but I wasn't feeling it tonight.

Medium red in colour, the nose has dark fruits that meld with olive, herb and controlled new oak inputs.
The wine is medium to full bodied, having a great structure and pure expression of fruit on the palate, with dark plum and blackberry dominant.
The tannins provide good support to the fruit and there is a youthful line of acidity that underwrites a good cellaring life. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2015-2025)

My favorite of the tasting. Very nice complexity on the nose and palate. The finish was quite long and enjoyable. Nose opened nicely with some vigorous swirling. Dark w/good tannin management. Balanced. Would buy again.
