Three consecutive btls from the same source that are premoxed, to varying degrees. One golden colored, two slightly lighter, but both with an oxidised finish that kept getting worse as it lingered. Undrinkable.

Really enticing bouquet of gingerbread cookie dough. Didn't expect it to smell like this! But nothing confectionary about the flavor -- this is pure white fruit, almost crunchy in mouthfeel with its angular precision.

(Michel Neillon Chassagne-Montrachet "Clos de Maltroie") Oak, minerals, lemon, tangerine. Very nice aromatics. Subtle yet nuanced and perfumed. Thick, oily palate with lots of tropical fruit. Solid acids and nice length. The finish is all mineral with a touch of vanilla from the oak. Good stuff. Needs probably two years for the oak to mellow out. Very nice. A big wine with finesse.
