This was a Domaine Faiveley, for the official record.
Beautiful amber hue. (We drank at a restaurant. Table next to us had a ‘13 Chambolle-Musigny still deep Garnett so interesting to see the difference so plainly.).
Drinking so wonderfully! Completely balanced. Fig, dried dark berries, and a touch of Burgundy earthiness. A depth of flavor like jam. I really hated when the bottle was finished.

well, I didn't take my own advice on waiting for my second bottle, but it didn't matter, this is great for its level, it is a bit more on the darkish fruit (even if red fruited) side with some rusticity / cocoa / smoke hanging around, but the dark red fruit does ultimately hold up to the secondary flavors (which are large)... really really nice with decent structure to frame the whole picture... a great buy for $62 (esp in todays market)

a couple of bottles and with both, the fruit has receded so these had developed a certain toughness to it - a passing phase?

sensational - mature with the tannins and fruit beautifully integrated - no rush

4 hours in decanter. Smokey and fruits, astringent. Tannins, not balanced. After 24 hours much smoother, but lacks complexity.
