Last bottle of this case did not disappoint -- great classic nebbiolo nose, still bright and fruity but some real darkness. Good balance with big tannins.

Dark Cherry nose. Palate is classic bright nebbiolo fruit with a bit of cedar. Good balanced acidity. Surprisingly big tannins - none of the other bottles were as pronounced as this. I'm setting back the end date to 2012, since 2011 really is no way near the end of this bright puppy.

Bright menthol nose with dark fruit. Palate is rich in fruit and more tannins than before, but still overall balanced and a really good quaff. I'm putting the drink date back to 2011, because this thing is still bright and fresh and no signs of getting old. Hard to believe that four years ago I could buy this nebbiolo for under $11.50. Who says inflation hasn't hit!

Cherries and bright nose. Good fruit and moderate tannins on the palate with good balance and acidity. Needs an hour or so to develop.
