Sancerre ages so well. The color is still light straw and bright, the flavor sings of Sauvignon Blanc, not vegetative but grassy herbal with lemon notes. In the mouth the acid is ample but subdued after five years. The weight of wine has benefited from the time and so the wine is viscous and smooth and the finish is long and cleansing. Worth the wait.

Citrus and floral nose. Lemon, saline, wet stone and apricot flavor. Bracing acidity with just a touch of sweetness on the long, smooth finish. Crisp and refreshing in combination with soft ripe fruit in excellent balance. This really hits my Sauvignon Blanc sweet spot and my wife loves it.

this has Loire Valley integrated into it, fresh seashore and white flower scents, light bodied, zesty acid, lemon, stone and mineral on the finish, nothing more and nothing less than expected for a Sancerre, which is a positive for me, a true expression but expensive, overall an excellent Sancerre

Fresh flowers with straw; balanced acidity and lightly creamy; smooth but also challenging; very well done.

Straw and zippy citrus and lemon curd and some apricot; balanced; some light bacon; soft and friendly; soft long finish.
