375ml before Valentine’s Day dinner. Love, love, lovely! Pun intended, but a really nice expression of Sancerre that has a beautiful nose and pleasant finish.

Light straw colour. On the nose I get melon, grass, citrus - very lovely. Silky smooth palate with hint of sweetness, plenty of fruit, peach, pear standout. Medium acidity. Long finish where minerality shows. Excellent wine - eaten with goats cheese and some sourdough baguette. Yum!

Pale to light gold in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, lemons/limes gooseberries with overtones of floral & mineral notes, stony/flinty, chalky & an ever so slight hint of grassiness in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, lemons/limes & grapefruit with chalky & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present although it could develop further with additional aging. More of a mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc.

Lemon, lime curd, a little peach, light herbal note, along with sandalwood and dried hay. Medium-plus acid. 14% abv, to my surprise. Very nice.

With some stoney minerality to it. Fleshy, lively, with a clean cut texture and focus across the palate. Also with a vibrant touch of spice to it.
