Community Tasting Notes (5) Median Score: 88 points

  • Short note - nutts, mushrooms, forest floor, saline minerality, limestone/chalk, fresh, high acidity, long finish, exactly what a non-premox old burgundy should taste like, complex, highly concentrated and long finish, outstanding quality 93p

  • P n' P. Pale golden. Nose of butterscotch, vax, hazelnuts and a hint of honey. Medium bodied and linear, still with a very lively acidity, and decent length. Drinking at probable peak now.

  • Not bad. Mostly acid, some oak. Still primary - almost turquoise in colour. Linear and fine - but will hardly improve.

  • Bourogne in the Fall (Oslo): Fairly dark. Some honey, mature, and something reminiscient of vax or petroleum. Light in the mouth, but follows through the the taste curve. Develops in the glass, but lacks some acid.
