This is a great Chablis grand cru. It was a bit richer than a lot of Chablis tends to be, but since when is that a problem? Still very precise, lots of minerality to accompany the fruit, high-toned beautiful nose, and a long finish. Very refreshng, had good acidity that made you want to take another mouthful. This is probably at its peak drinkng window now, I don't see it getting much better. but it's not going anywhere either -- should be good at least into the late 20s.

Tight, piercing, flinty and dense. This is currently compact, rich and chewy and a little shy. There’s the barest whiff of Arum lily and plenty of sea spray action. It is sharp and linear, in need of a few years to unfurl.

Decanted and poured, this wine ultimately gave a very good showing; however, at times it displayed somewhat of an identity crisis. Initially this gives the impression of being more "chardonnay" than "Chablis". Airing gives the wine more focus, but this never fully develops the precision and focus expected. Hopefully additional bottle age will allow this wine to give a more harmonious showing.

Quite rich and broad on the nose, but very precise, fresh, saline and lifted on the palate. Lots of acidity, very vibrant and long. 92-94
