  dching's note had it all right. I would only add that the aroma and mouth feel is both vivid and delicate, feeling like elegance defined. It's a 91+ for now and I think it could get better.

  Classic sauvignon characteristics of grass, hay, nettles and gooseberry. But i also get a good deal of ripe lime and melon fruit especially on the palate. Good intensity on both nose and palate, with very good concentration of flavours. As previous taster noted, the wine is quite full and rich for a Sancerre. Length is also impressive, with lots of lingering acidity leaving a chalky and stony mineral finish. An excellent sauvignon blanc (of which i must admit i normally find quite uninspiring and one dimensional). Recommended. An top notch Sancerre. The QPR is good if not great at £20 or $30. Drinking very well now...but would definitely benefit from some bottle age to develop more complexity...but saying that you may lose the lovely fruit...decisions...decisions!
