Heading for brown garnet with a light brown to clear rim. Subtle spice and fruit early. Good acid and little tannins front the spice cherry and raspberry. After an hour and Gabriel glass this has become nicely balanced with spicy fruit and earthy tones backed by smooth acid and tannins. Now is the time.

Good solid Chianti Classico. Heavy fruit that needs some time to mellow and blend. Great dry tannin with sweet fruit on the finish. This wine should improve in the next 5 years.

Drank with Vincent Olga at dinner at our house. Had with cheese enchiladas. Paired okay. Drink well. Classic Chianti. Tannins were fine and light. Was hoping that it was going to have a little more aging potential, but I would drink in the next year or two at the most.

Just not quite as balanced as last year. Probably on the way out. Fruit is fading and acid is more dominant. But not too bad.

A bit rough on its own at first, but once paired with food, it was very good. Drink up within a year or so.
