Open for business, on point nose of lemon, spice and that Coche matchstick aroma that soars out of the glass. The palate is very lean and crisp, very 04 in it’s texture and flavor profile.

At Euro lunch, Coche nose of matchstick although not as big as other wines from this house. Fairly tight linear palate with a lot of acidity and crispness, followed by a long finish. Really on point and a wonderful example of Meursault.

2004 Vintage Burgundy Tasting and Oxidation Check (Part 1) (BLT Fish, New York City): Boom! Coche-o-rama from the first sniff, with unmistakable flavor breadth, intensity and mouthfeel. Also very Chevalieres with its precise, high-toned combination of herbal, resin, fruit and stone components.
