From memory: I thought this was a fascinating wine, and my first Isabelle Morgan ever. Very subtle and feminine. Lots of complexity, lovely nose, good cranberry and cherry flavors but best with the secondary notes. I love the dramatic, extra-thick bottle, too. We had this at Thanksgiving 2012 with Geoff, Dawn, Carol, Sue, Jen and me. We paid $22 on close-out; very good QPR for that price.

Plenty of youth in this bottle. My second of 2 and I wish I had more. After an hour of air...great pinot complexity. kiwi, rhubarb, seawater, tar, slight hint of spice....huge acids...good with empanadas! Really understated, complex, beautiful wine.

From magnum. A little thin upon opening, it gained weight in the glass and exhibited all the Burgundian qualities that one expects, muted cherry, sharp acidity, and complex aromatics.

(Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir Isabelle) From magnum - nice ripe cherry and cinnamon nose; odd, tart red fruit palate, a little disjointed; short-medium finish

Good integration. Nice fruit, but not overpowering, nice spice, cola complexity...Has gotten a little better with age.
