Unique stuff. Honey, stone, olives. Mature but still alive wit energy. Predominantly Clairette, with small amounts of Grenache Blanc and Ugni Blanc, and a dash of Bourboulenc, Muscat Blanc, Picpoul, Furmint and Sémillon.

Very interesting wine, moving in the direction of a Vin Jaune; this this really developing in the glass, starts out on the minerals, but more fruit awakens, T did not much care for this, G loved it - me to. It is very much a food wine, and still young. 91+ #LaRacine#NYC#52Birthday.91+

Very nice change, having never had a fine clairette- led white wine. Somewhat viscous, showing strong mineral scents and flavors-- largely ore-- and some pine and petrol scents. Persistent mouthfeel and a hint of lemon, with a steely backbone and fresh after sense.

A wonderful, unique experience. My first Simome and it exhibited it's characteristic pine notes in the nose, while the mouthfeel was on the viscous side. The wine seemed to gain in complexity as I enjoyed my dinner at Racines in NYC

Quite unique and non traditional. Elements of resin, wax, some green olive and woody notes. Very much a thinkers wine. Not an everyday drinker.
