Glad I kept a bottle around for a few years. Doesn't seem over the hill or really even that mature. Mostly still the easy wine it was at first release, with maybe a bit more integration.

JT tasting #2: dark purple in color. Young and meaty, warm, hints of red berries, violet, sweet fruit.
Fresh and vibrant mouthfeel, some green notes, nice maturity, velvety and smooth, cranberries, slightly jammy on the finish. Evident oak with vanilla and spices. 91p

Interesting secondary nuances are filling out what has been a very interesting wine since I first purchased a case three years ago. I regret that I only have two left. Flavors of black plum and black raspberry with fennel and white pepper; and still quite bright. The outlier, in all the right ways, among a crowd of Washington syrahs. A crowd favorite.

very good to outstanding
does not seem 6 years old but key is the excellent balance between sweet fruit and smooth tannic backbone.
