Good dark color, no sign or aging. Nose subdued berry aromas, mature. In mouth showing reduced tannins some menthol and modest acid, would be good with food. My only bottle but would like to have more.

Simple pop n pour, no need for air, a perfect cork has preserved this old gem. Delicious, slight to med bricked, still showing hints of fruit, soft tannins beautiful wine for its age. Drink now.

My last bottle from a case purchased on release for about $20 each. Lush and voluptuous but not over ripe like most Cabs today. Decanted at 5pm and tasted through 11pm, this is a slightly translucent medium to dark garnet color with no sign of age. This was probably best from the 3-4 hour point. Quite delicious with grilled steaks. Nose has vanilla, chocolate, cedar, tobacco, dark berries and black plum. Palate is velvety smooth with the lush berries shining through along with all the secondary flavors. Yet it is still bright with acidity and lively. Love the old-school Cali Cabs! Thoroughly enjoyed these over the years!
