Decanted for about an hour. Nice soft berry aroma with fruit, oak flavors and tannins very soft on the palatte. The longer the bottle sat the softer the wine became, almost dropping off too much on the finish. Given we were drinking this several years beyond suggested drink dates it was a very good bottle.

($15) Nice intensity, though it is somewhat predictable currant fruit, cedar and oak. Hints of spices are also present. Tannins seem to suggest an improvement with age. Has hints of herbaceousness once you delve into the nose. special

($15) Straightforward Cabernet with a medium-full body and currant-coffee-olive flavors. Good length and concentration, but could use some pizzazz.

($15) Tasting some tobacco flavors I hadn't noticed before. Still possesses an abundance of oak. Good Stuffing. 12/1/99

($16) Tasty. Good varietal character, cedar and ripe cherries marry smoothly with herbs adding edginess and depth.
